BUDDIES MENTORING PROGRAM

St Vincent de Paul Society

Buddies Mentoring Program - St Vincent de Paul Society

The Buddies Mentoring Program is a care and respite program run by Vinnies Youth Volunteers. They are a one-day activity, in which kids aged 5-12 years participate in fun recreational activities, whilst learning life skills along the way. They are designed to offer kids a break from any hardships they may be experiencing, and are all organised at no cost to the families or volunteers. Volunteers participate in activities alongside the children, and provide them with positive role models to ensure the days are both safe and fun. Volunteers are all provided with training and support, and rewarded with the knowledge that they have made a difference on that one day in the life of a disadvantaged child.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, or to find out more contact Gemma O’Donoghue by calling 0439 487 911 or emailing gemma.odonoghue@vinnies.org.au
