The Mary MacKillop Primary String Ensemble prepares for its night of nights.

Hundreds of online viewers have hit the Mary MacKillop South Penrith Primary website during a live stream of a school concert.

The music concert was streamed over two nights on September 6 and 7, with students from Kindergarten to Year 6 showcasing their learning in Music to the world.

Special guest, Wiggles dancer and singer Brad Carroll, sang and performed on stage with the MacKillop Choir and Ensembles.

The webcast allowed the school community to watch it again at home on the second night as it beamed live to the world.  Many parents praised the school for their approach to education in the 21st Century.

“It  was just as much fun watching the webcast, as it was watching it live at school  last night….Great work Mackillop,” said an online parent.

“We were watching the school concert online via the web and it was fantastic. It is truly amazing what technology can do,” said another excited blogger.
