Two million attend WYD11

The official numbers for World Youth Day (WYD) 2011 in Madrid have been released, with about two million people participating in the event.
The final number ranks Madrid as the third most attended WYD, behind Manila in the Philipines in 1995 and Rome in 2000.
A total of 193 nations were represented in Madrid, with most participants hailing from Italy, Spain, and France.
Fourteen thousand priests and 800 bishops concelebrated the Closing Mass with Pope Benedict XVI in the Cuatro Vientos Aerodrome.
