Mary Immaculate Quakers Hill/Schofields Parish Ladies Group recently celebrated its 25th Anniversary with a Mass and luncheon.

Mary Immaculate Parish Priest Fr Ian McGinnity celebrated the Mass.

Invited guests included members of the Blacktown Hospital Auxiliary and Blacktown Uniting Church. The group's Silver Jubilee was also attended by the Deputy Mayor of Blacktown, Cr Kathie Collins, as well some past members including Mr and Mrs Walsh who travelled from Gympie in Queensland to join the celebrations.

One of the founding members spoke to the gathering about the inception of the group and the important role that the group has played over those years.

Some of the founding members are still in the group along with newer members, making some 20 members.
