Penelope Foster from St Vincent de Paul was presented with the blanket and donation by Year 12 student leaders.

Students and staff from Nagle College in Blacktown have collected 150 blankets and donated $360 to the St Vincent de Paul Society’s Winter Appeal.

The Winter Appeal supports communities by providing food, clothing and much more to those living in poverty and disadvantage, a cause that Nagle College supports every year as part of their commitment to serving their local community.

In addition to collecting blankets, the Nagle College ‘Bring it On’ Dance Troupe also contributed to the Winter Appeal with a donation of $360 raised through a bake stall.

Students involved in the ‘Bring it On’ Dance Competition need to participate in community service to meet the requirements of the competition, and this year chose to focus their efforts on the St Vincent de Paul Society’s Winter Appeal.
