Music & Readings for Christmas

11/12/2014

St Finbar’s at Glenbrook is hosting its famous “Music and Readings for Christmas” on Sunday 21 December at 7:30pm in the parish church, 46 Levy St, Glenbrook.

This year will see something different – a  special segment commemorating the centenary of the commencement of World War I, and in particular the strange experience many of the soldiers had during the first Christmas of that terrible conflict.

This futile hope will be remembered as it is woven into the singing of Silent Night.

The night will feature a massed choir accompanied by organ, brass and timpani on this night of Christmas joy, and all are welcome. A leaving donation will be suggested.
