Compass answers audience’s prayers

ABC1’s popular Sunday night Religion and Ethics documentary program Compass will move to an earlier time on Sunday nights from next year.

In 2012, Compass will be screening at 6.30pm on Sundays.

“For years so many of our viewers have told us how much they love Compass - alas the catch-cry has always been, “But you’re on too late!” presenter Geraldine Doogue said.

“Now we’ve answered that call.”

Compass programs currently in production for next year cover a wide array of issues, including the challenges facing the Catholic Church in Australia on the 50th anniversary of the Second Vatican Council.

Geraldine Doogue will also be revisiting women from Longreach, Melbourne and Sydney’s west who featured in the highly popular ‘Women’s Dinner series’, while Scott Stephens is working on another series of the highly acclaimed 'Life’s Big Questions'.
