CCSS Disaster Relief Fund News Story
NSW Premier Barry O'Farrell has declared a State of Emergency for the Wagga Wagga Local Government Area, with the Riverina experiencing the worst floods since the mid-1800s.

The Bishop of Parramatta, Most Rev Anthony Fisher OP, has authorised CatholicCare Social Services - Diocese of Parramatta (CCSS) to co-ordinate a disaster relief fund on behalf of the Diocese to help those who are suffering through this natural disaster.

The appeal will remain open until and including Sunday 15 April 2012.

Disaster Relief Fund envelopes will be available at your local Church within the Parramatta Diocese, or you can visit the CCSS Online Donation Page to make a secure online donation.

All donations over $2 are tax deductible a payment a receipt will be issued once payment has been recieved.

Thank you for your support and prayers. The victims of the flooding in the Riverina will directly benefit from the money donated.
