Bishop Anthony blesses the new BER spaces at Sacred Heart Westmead

The Bishop of Parramatta, Most Rev Anthony Fisher OP, has blessed Sacred Heart Primary Westmead's new Building the Education Revolution (BER)-funded library and refurbished classrooms at an Opening & Blessing Ceremony at the school on Friday 11 November.

The $2 million library and refurbished classrooms were officially opened by Catholic Education, Diocese of Parramatta Executive Director of Schools, Greg Whitby, and Sacred Heart’s Principal, Diane Katalinic.

In his address at the ceremony, Bishop Anthony reminded Sacred Heart's students about the spiritual foundation of their Catholic education.

"St Paul says that the best foundation for building your life is Jesus Christ," Bishop Anthony said.

"Your Catholic education offers a unique opportunity for you to meet Jesus and develop a relationship with him."
