Our Lady Queen of Peace Greystanes Social Group News Story

All are invited to join Our Lady Queen of Peace Greystanes Parish Social Group for a visit to Concord West's Kokoda Track Memorial Walkway on Tuesday 7 June.

The unique tribute to the bravery of Australian troops who fought in the World War II Papua-New Guinea campaign is located along the foreshore of Brays Bay on the Parramatta River.

The Greystanes Parish Social Group's day trip will also include a visit to the Schoenstatt Shrine in Mulgoa.

The shrine is one of more than 195 exact replicas of the original in Germany, where the founder of the Schoenstatt Movment, Fr Joseph Kentenich, and a small group of students entered into a covenant of love with Mary.

Departure Time & Place

The bus departs Virgil Street Greystanes at 8.45am & 9am from Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 198 Old Prospect Road, Greystanes.
