As part of the National Pilgrimage of Grace, a Holy Relic of St Francis Xavier will visit St Patrick’s Cathedral in Parramatta from Thursday 29 to Friday 30 November.
Thursday 29 November
Arrives at St Patrick’s Cathedral
(1 Marist Place, Parramatta)
Mass. Anniversary of the dedication of St Patrick’s Cathedral on 29 November 2003. Mass will be followed by veneration.
Mass with the Goan community. Rev Clifford D’souza MSFS will be the Principal Celebrant for this Mass, ministers for the Liturgy of the Word, Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist and Altar Servers will be members of the Goa and South Asian Catholic communities. Mass will be followed by the serving of 'agape' (traditional Goan snacks).
Veneration till 11pm.
The relic will remain overnight at St Patrick’s Cathedral.
