Blacktown to Parramatta
Walk and talk with the Lord this Good Friday Night
Young people in the Diocese are invited to join Catholic Youth Parramatta for an all-night Good Friday walk from Blacktown to Parramatta, remembering the journey our Lord took to Calvary.
We will be visiting seven parishes along the way, spending time in prayer together as well as quiet reflection.
There will be rest/bathroom breaks along the way. Please invite your friends to come.
On Good Friday night, 29 March
Leaving from: St Patrick's Church, 59 Allawah St Blacktown at 10.30pm
To: St Patrick's Cathedral, 1 Marist Pl, Parramatta, arriving on the morning of Saturday 30 March.
- Umbrella or poncho
- Rosary beads
- Mobile phone (fully charged)
- Warm comfortable clothes
- Comfortable walking shoes
Participants need to arrange own transportation to and from the event and must follow instructions provided by the marshalls.
16 to 35
If you are over 16 but under 18 you will need to fill out a Parental Permission Form (see below). This will need to be emailed/faxed/sent to Catholic Youth Parramatta before the Good Friday Walk takes place.
