NAIDOC, which means ‘National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee’, is a celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.

It is also an opportunity to recognise the contributions of Indigenous Australians in various fields.

The ACS event program includes an acknowledgment of country, Elders awards presentation, music and entertainment by the ‘Black Elvis’ Steven Fogarty, ‘Smart, Strong and Deadly’ Children’s puppet show by Yarramundi Kids, face painting and of course a yummy barbecue lunch.

Looking forward to seeing you there!

With thanks to the Department of Families, Housing, Community Services & Indigenous Affairs for their assistance with this event
