Bringing baby home...fostering your baby's development.
Please note, this is the first of a two-session program

The Bringing Baby Home (BBH) program is a CatholicCare Social Services - Diocese of Parramatta education workshop aimed at new parents and expectant couples.

After completing the BBH program, you will have the skills to create a caring and nurturing environment in your home and have the tools to cope with conflict in positive ways.

This will allow you to strengthen your relationship with your partner and foster your baby’s development.

Throughout the BBH workshop, you can expect to gain the following skills:

  • Learn what to expect during your transition into parenthood
  • Have the skills to strenghten friendship, intimacy, communication and conflict resolution skills with your partner
  • Increase your knowledge about child development and hot to co parent with your partner

Topics include:

  • Conflict
  • Preserving intimacy and romance
  • The importance of fathers
  • Positive interaction with your baby

The program utilises various learning tools such as group discussions, interactive excersises and DVDs.

Couples are welcomed to bring their baby if required. We ask, however, that older siblings do not attend.
