Holy Spirit Seminary: preparing for the priesthood in the spirit of brotherhood and homeliness
Marked by a spirit of brotherhood and support, the Holy Spirit Seminary is a place of personal and spiritual formation for those preparing for the priesthood in the Catholic Diocese of Parramatta.
Formation and growth occurs in four key focus areas:
- Human
- Spiritual
- Intellectual
- Pastoral
The Seminary’s Rector Fr John Hogan leads a committed team of support people in assisting the seminarians in these areas during their seminary lives and preparation for ordination. Seminarians undertake the Diocese’s program of priestly formation after having undertaken an initial period of inquiry, discernment and aspirancy overseen by the Diocesan Vocation Director, Fr Paul Roberts.
If you would like to know more about joining the priesthood, please visit the Diocese’s Vocations site for more information and insights.
Or, you are more than welcome to visit Holy Spirit Seminary to see what life is like in the day of a Seminarian.
