Aboriginal Catholic Ministry
Aboriginal Catholic Ministry is the official agency of the Diocese providing for the spiritual care and enrichment of Aboriginal people in the area in an Aboriginal way under the decision-making and leadership of the Aboriginal people.

Centacare
Centacare Catholic Family Services fulfils its mission by developing, implementing and evaluating social welfare programs which are responsive to community needs, and by influencing social policy development. If fulfils its mission in ways which accord with Catholic social teaching.

Relationship & Family Counselling
Provides counselling to individuals couples, families and children about any aspect of their relationship. Provided in the Castle Hill, Parramatta and Blacktown Local Government Areas.

Blacktown Neighbour Aid
Aims to assist individuals who are frail aged, or younger people with disabilities, and their carers to help enhance their independence, security and quality of life.

Gambler Counselling
Provides individual couple/family or group counselling for anyone affected by gambling, this includes friends or family members who are also affected by gambling. This program is provided to people in the Blacktown and Mt Druitt areas.

Project Elizabeth
Counselling and support in relation to pregnancy and children aged 0 - 3 years. This program also assists by providing information and education on parenting and child development, information and referral to health and community services.

Family Support Programs
Provides counselling and support to families with children 0 - 6 years of age, where issues within the family impact on the children's safety and well being. This service is provided to families within the Blacktown and Penrith Local Government Areas.

Pre Marriage Education
Designed for couples this two-day weekend course consists of activities to assist the couples to strengthen their relationship and live their relationship to its richest.

HIV/AIDS Ministry
Provides pastoral care, loss and bereavement support and counselling. It provides emotional and spiritual support for people living with HIV/AIDS, their family & friends.

Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD)
The CCD provides Special Religious Educators (catechists) in Government schools with training programs, personal support and ongoing faith formation and education. At the parish level the CCD provides the service of evangelisation through the religious education and pastoral care of Catholic students attending State Schools.

Ecumenical & Interfaith Commission
The role of the Commission is to highlight the importance of the Church's commitment to Ecumenism and Interfaith Relations, to liaise with members of other Churches and Religions, and to encourage parishes and diocesan councils to initiate grass roots activities and prayer services where appropriate.

Emmaus Disabled Persons Catholic Service
This service assists people with an intellectual disability and their families, supporting them to take their place in the Church and wider society. The ministry responds to needs through a program of pastoral support, a Christian community offering accommodation to adults with a moderate/mild intellectual disability.

Ephpheta Centre
The Centre provides the chaplaincy team for deaf and hearing-impaired people in the Dioceses of Parramatta and Broken Bay and the Archdiocese of Sydney. The Centre provides sacramental and pastoral care, counselling, support and advocacy services. Visitation is an important part of the Centre's work.

Ministry to Solo Parents & Their Families
This ministry offers care and support to those who are widowed, separated or divorced, and single parents and the children of these families. Services include: home visits, one-to-one support and support groups, reflection days, family activities, understanding of the grief process through the Recovery Program, encouraging parish/community support, and a regular newsletter.

Sacraments of Initiation for Children and Adults (RCIA)
This ministry assists local parish communities to implement diocesan policy regarding the Sacraments of Initiation for Children, providing advice, inservicing for parish Sacramental Co-ordinators and parish workshops. The office of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) assists parishes with the establishment and ongoing formation and development of RCIA liturgy, processes and teams, and provides resources and information regarding the initiation of older children, youth and adults.

Tribunal of the Catholic Church
This office is responsible for presentation and assessment of all cases (marriage and otherwise) presented by people who reside within the Diocese of Parramatta. It prepares formal nullity cases for the Regional Office. It handles Documentary Process Cases and administrative cases to be decided locally or in Rome.

University Chaplaincy
The university chaplaincy provides a caring presence of the Catholic community to all people of the University of Western Sydney. Chaplains are available for the pastoral care of staff and students, and offer to assist individuals/groups to discern and develop their faith, values and spirituality.
