The Diocesan Development Fund Parramatta (DDF) is committed to providing you with the highest level of customer service.
We are also committed to respecting the privacy of our clients. Personal information is collected, held, used, corrected, disposed of or transferred in accordance with the National Privacy Principles and Privacy Act 1988 as amended. This includes safeguarding your privacy.
The DDF collects personal information to assess your application for an account, provide you with the service you have requested, and to aid in any future applications that you may make for accounts and services. The DDF may also use your personal information to carry out marketing activities and to assist in customer surveys for product development.

Personal InformationThe DDF will do everything we can to meet these principles but if we do not please tell us and we will try and resolve any problem you may have.
The DDF holds personal information such as your Tax File Number, your personal contact details and financial information. An explanation of this personal information is as follows:
Tax File Number (TFN):
The Purpose of collecting your TFN is for passing on to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) when annually notifying interest details.
Personal Contact Details:
Name, address and date of birth to establish your DDF account
Personal Identification Details:
Passport, Birth Certificate, Citizenship Certificate, Drivers License, Financial Institutions account numbers, store or club membership numbers, Medicare number.
Financial Information:
Balance of your accounts together with details of withdrawals and deposits transacted on your account
The primary purpose of the information you provide to the DDF is used to establish you as a client of the DDF and provide services from the DDF to you. If you do not provide us with the information requested, or consent to disclose the information as outlined above, we may not be able to offer you the service you have requested.
Personal information collected by the DDF may be passed onto certain third parties in the ordinary course of activities of the DDF. Examples of the types of organizations to whom it may be necessary to disclose your personal information include: Australian Taxation Office, Auditors of the Diocesan Development Fund, Melbourne CDF (Catholic Development Fund) who maintain our computer operating system.
Your personal information may be used for direct marketing purposes by the DDF only, and you may receive information relating directly to your account and new products and services the DDF may be offering.
