Highlights the importance of the Church’s commitment to Ecumenism & Interfaith Relations (Commission Mandate)

The Commission prepares and presents workshops and courses on ecumenism and inter-religious relations for groups within the Catholic Diocese of Parramatta. Using diocesan media, we aim to educate and raise awareness of the Church’s commitment to and activities in ecumenism and interfaith relations.

Ecumenical and Inter-faith Activity

Laises between members of the other churches and other religionsto initiate grass roots activities and prayer services where appropriate (Commission Mandate)

The Commission initiates and promotes opportunities for members of the diocesan community to improve their understanding of and participation in local interfaith dialogue, ecumenical activity and prayer. We represent the diocese in local, regional and national ecumenical and interfaith networks, forums and councils.

Ecumenical and Interfaith Groups within the Catholic Diocese of Parramatta

WIN (Women's Interfaith Network)
Meets monthly at various locations in the Sydney Region including our Parramatta area.

Meets the third Monday of each month 6pm-8pm, Baulkham Hills Senior Citizens Centre.
