Hall (The Cloister’s Function Room)

Air-conditioned and with off-street parking and access for the disabled, ‘Cloisters’ Function Room (the Parish Hall of St Patrick’s Cathedral) is ideal for all special occasions.

Caterers ‘Lachlans’ who operate from Old Government House in Parramatta Park, have more than 25 years experience in the hospitality industry. They have formal and informal packages to suit any needs and will add that special touch to a perfect function.

The function room facilities include trestle tables and chairs providing formal or informal seating with room for up to 300 chairs in theatre style arrangement. We have a full commercial kitchen with a six-burner gas top stove, electric oven and warmer, commercial dishwasher and a walk in cool room.

Murphy House.

Murphy House

Murphy House is situated in the front courtyard area of St Patrick’s Cathedral.

Originally built in 1904 and used as the Presbytery, it is named after the well-loved assistant priest Fr Peter Murphy who died at a young age.

It was restored in 2006 and now houses our Cathedral Museum, Visitors Centre and Piety Stall on the ground floor.

The upper floor features two smaller meeting rooms (suitable for groups up to 20) with access to a small kitchenette.

Both Murphy House and ‘Cloisters’ Function Room Hall have state-of-the-art Powerpoint presentation and DVD facilities available.
