Complaints

The Church's policies and procedures on how to respond to complaints of sexual or physical abuse by a Church person are set out in detail in Towards Healing, issued by Australia's Catholic Bishops and Leaders of Religious Institutes in 1996.

It is the Church's policy that complaints are to be received by a Contact Person specially appointed and trained for the task. A person wishing to make a complaint can arrange to meet a Contact Person by dialing the contact line: 1300 36 99 77.
