The Bishop's Letter: The Word of God made flesh
I read a post-Easter homily that really stopped me in my tracks! The
author wrote that when Jesus appeared to His disciples on Easter Sunday,
He offered them "heaven's great absolution for the world's
sins", which He bore and confessed on the Cross. Absolution of the
sins of the world is a startling and penetrating insight into the
meaning of Christ's suffering and death. (MORE)
Questions bishops are asked: "General" and
"Particular" judgment
I am confused about the "General" and the
"Particular" judgment and what they mean. When exactly are we
judged by God, when we die, or when Christ comes again? (MORE)
Bishop Writings : Some changes in the way we celebrate Mass
On Pentecost Sunday, which this year falls on 11 May, Catholics
throughout Australia will be asked to make two minor changes in the
celebration of the Eucharistic Liturgy: firstly, a change of posture;

Course focuses on Tribunal ministry

Commissioning and Commencement Mass for Institute for Mission
On 8 February, about 300 people gathered in St Patrick's
Cathedral in Parramatta to celebrate the achievement of graduating
students of the Institute for Mission and to ask for the blessing on 61
