Diocesan Youth Worker

Salary $45K - $48K (full time)

The Diocese of Parramatta is looking for a dedicated young person to join the Diocesan Youth and Young Adult Apostolate team. The Youth Worker is responsible for helping in the implementation and support of youth & young adult projects across the Diocese at a parish and school level.

Experience & Knowledge Relevant to Position

1. Tertiary qualification (or nearing graduation) in a relevant discipline, or relevant demonstrated experience in Youth Ministry
2. 1-3 years' experience in Catholic parish-based youth ministry or education
3. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office 2003/07
4. Proven ability to work collaboratively with other ministries and key partners within the Diocese
5. Proven experience in the design of promotional material
6. Excellent IT and web design skills
7. Excellent communications and liaison skills
8. Current Drivers Licence
